Full Stack Developer, SeniorThe Opportunity:As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen, you will lead the modernization of mission‑critical GEOINT systems by architecting and delivering cloud‑native, data‑driven applications and microservices. In this senior role, you will shape technical direction, oversee the integration of modern pipelines, and develop secure, scalable solutions that directly impact analysts performing high‑consequence missions.You’ll serve as a technical leader who advises on architecture, mentors engineers, and drives engineering excellence across complex modernization efforts.What You'll Do:Lead architecture, design, and implementation of full‑stack capabilities across cloud‑native microservicesOwn major system components and guide the technical roadmap for modernization and cloud adoptionDevelop distributed, secure, scalable back‑end services using Python, Java/Spring Boot, or similar technologiesArchitect and govern cloud deployments (AWS), including Kubernetes clusters, IaC, security controls, and reliability patternsGuide teams in DevSecOps execution, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure coding standards, and supply‑chain integrityIntegrate large‑scale data, search, or analytic pipelines, such as Kafka, NiFi, ElasticsearchPartner with product owners, mission users, and cross‑functional engineering teams to define requirements and technical strategyMentor and support mid‑level and junior engineers; perform code reviews and drive engineering best practicesEvaluate emerging technologies, including LLMs/AI, synthetic data, and augmented development tools for mission applicabilityJoin us. You Have:  6+ years of experience with full‑stack software engineeringExperience leading technical delivery or architecture for cloud‑native or distributed systemsExperience with Python, C++, Java, or Spring BootExperience with SQL or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or SQLiteExperience architecting and deploying solutions using AWS or Azure cloud frameworksExperience with containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with complex API ecosystems, such as FastAPT, REST, gRPC, or GraphQLExperience building secure, high‑performance applications in classified or highly restricted environmentsActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examBachelor’s degree in a STEM fieldNice If You Have:  Experience with distributed search or data platforms such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, Kafka, or NiFiExperience modernizing legacy applications into modern frameworksExperience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationExperience integrating AI/ML or LLM‑based development workflowsExperience supporting GEOINT or Intelligence Community analytic missionsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
